We as entrepreneurs need to know about our behavior traits that make us a successful entrepreneur and leave the failure far behind. Today I am here to share a short story with you. It is an old story about two Greek islanders competing to become the strongest man on the island.
Let us call them José and Carlos. And let us see this fight to become a successful entrepreneur.
One day José found an abandoned calf in the small jungle beside his house, and he decided to bring the calf home. He fed the calf, took good care of it. The calf was all spoiled by now (but in a good way). And then on one sunday afternoon José thought about how can the calf help him to defeat Carlos? José got struck with a weird idea. He started lifting the calf every single day. Every day the calf got bigger and heavier but José could still lift it. Because it was only a little bit heavier than the previous day. After a few years José realized that the calf is now a bull. And he could still lift it.
You might be wondering what’s up with Carlos? So, in the meantime Carlos had tried to lift a bull every single day.
He had failed every single time.
